Living Word Church started in 1979 in the homes of Roy and Belle Cullip and Dale and Nona Morgans with Wednesday evening gatherings. The church started small but quickly outgrew their homes and we started having services in the music room of the Franklin Elementary School. We were there for a year until we were able to rent a small building. Once again, we outgrew that building and in 1985 we moved into a building on N. 10th Ave. We rented for six months and then signed the papers to purchase the building. To the glory of God, we kept growing. We, once again, outgrew our building. In 1992 we were able to buy a bigger, new building on N. 7th Ave. This building has served us well for 30+ years now.
